Scope

I built and lead IMI Venture Studio, an industrial venture-creation capability spanning opportunity discovery, customer validation, founder recruitment, seed investment, board governance, external financing, and portfolio reporting.

Responsibilities and outcomes

• Established a staged ideate–validate–invest–scale operating model suited to both startup execution and listed-company governance.
• Launched three ventures through a staged ideate–validate–invest–scale operating model.
• Led seed-investment work across commercial diligence, investment papers, financial modelling, valuation, transaction documents, and shareholder protections.
• Built executive review forums, performance dashboards, investment-return tracking, and repeatable investment procedures.
• Developed a global network of venture builders, founders, investors, and industrial validation partners.

Board roles

I contribute to board and portfolio oversight for ThermoTune and HySights. My focus is turning broad strategic concerns into testable questions, clear evidence, accountable owners, and decision dates—especially around product roadmap, market focus, runway, governance, and follow-on capital.
